CCCahoots have been consistently producing TV work for RTE (Irish national broadcaster) since late 2014. Our first sitcom, ‘The School’, was broadcast on RTE2 at the end of 2017!
We are also in the business of making movies. We have also just finished our newest short film, FitzGibbons’ Budget Funerals, and are excited to release it onto the national and international Film Festival circuit!
Check out the trailer for Pat, the 2015 short starring legend of Irish stage and screen Jon Kenny, where CCCahoots was born!

Tadhg Hickey is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, musician, morale-booster and docu-poet. Most of that list is real. In 2014 he was commissioned by RTE to write and star in a hit web series about a chap going out with himself – (R)onanism: “Pure clever man. Irish TV could do with a bit of that” – The Rubberbandits. (R)onanism paved the way for Tadhg’s critically acclaimed TV pilot, Sketch! and recent work for Republic of Telly.
He is an award winning comedy writer and performer. He co-wrote and performed the play Love all (“an outstanding physical and comedic performer” The Scotsman), and has written and starred in numerous prize winning short films including Uisce Beatha (Filmmakers’ Prize, DC Shorts festival, Washington) and Nietzsche No.5 (Best Comedy, Fastnet Short Film Festival).
He also fronts Irish band exit: pursued by a bear whose second album has recently come out to widespread critical acclaim. Tadhg’s lovely, OK?
Claire is the ‘on the wall’ part of the CCCahoots operation. Claire’s background is in accounting, but she found that it simply wasn’t exciting enough for her so she went and followed her dream to work in TV/film production and theatre! In the space of two years, Claire has already found herself producing work for the national broadcaster – RTE – including a critically acclaimed TV pilot ‘Sketch!’ and content for RTE’s flagship comedy, ‘Republic of Telly.’
In the corporate world, Claire has produced successful video content for the likes of Woodie’s; Think Visual; and UCC.
In terms of theatre, Claire has worked for some of Ireland’s leading companies and venues including Graffiti, Corcadorca. BrokenCrow; The Everyman Theatre; and The Cork Opera House.
